This sunscreen cream is free from Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, and Octocrylene. In vitro testing suggested SPF ~20, PFA (PPD) ~12 performance with critical wavelength = 379 nm. In vivo testing (5 subjects) yielded static SPF 24 in a US laboratory.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing, add phase B and heat to 80°C. |
2 | Add phase C into phase AB with mixing. Add phase D into phase ABC and mix until uniform before combination |
3 | To the main vessel add premixture of phase E, and then add phase F start mixing. Heat phase EF to 75°C. |
4 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABCD to phase EF with prop mixing. |
5 | After 5 minutes start cooling batch and when batch is < 50°C add phase G one by one with mixing |
6 | Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
