It is a stable formulation despite using no emulsifiers. The combination of Hallstar® Octyl Isononanoate, SolaStay® S1, and HallBrite® BHB helps polarity, viscosity, and density to form two phases. Colipa Guideline(2011) delivered SPF ~32, PFA (PPD) ~12, UVA1/UV = 0.86, and critical wavelength = 378nm. This biphasic spray requires a good shake before use.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | To a secondary vessel, phase A and start mixing. Heat it to 60 - 70°C. |
| 2 | Add phase B into phase A and mix until uniform, and then start cooling. |
| 3 | To the main vessel add the liquids of phase C, start mixing; and then add the solid, and mix until uniform. |
| 4 | Slowly add phase AB to phase C under gentle stirring. |
