Testing on Spectrasolv® DMDA demonstrated its antimicrobial activity against relevant microorganisms.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | Combine phase A and start heating to 80°C. |
2 | When phase A is above 70°C slowly add phase B with string mixing without aeration to prevent clumping. |
3 | Continue mixing until phase AB is crystal clear and phase B is totally dissolved (no "fisheyes"). |
4 | Commence very slow cooling with strong mixing without aeration (to prevent set up of the product on the vessel walls). |
5 | When phase AB is again at 70°C add phase C with continued mixing. |
6 | When batch is uniform, perform quality assurance checks and when batch is between 68°C and 62°C transfer product to packaging. |
