SolaStay® S1 provides very rapid and efficient excited-state quenching of Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, protecting it from photo-degradation and enhacing the performance of the combination of Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane and Ethylhexyl Triazone. HallBrite® BHB provides sunscreen solvency and emollience. Three-person in vivo testing yielded static SPF of 35.8 in an EU lab. In vitro analysis delivered PFA (PPD) ~17 performance with critical wavelength = 381 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing and heat to 50 - 60°C. |
2 | Add phase B into phase A with mixing until phase B is dissolved totally, then start cooling with mixing. |
3 | To the main vessel add premixture of phase C, and then add phase D with strong mixing until a smooth gel formed. |
4 | When both phases are homogeneous, slowly add phase AB to phase CD with proper mixing until the emulsion is fully formed. |
5 | Add phase E with mixing until batch is uniform, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
