This oil-in-water SPF 30 mineral sunscreen lotion uses only HallBrite® EZ-FLO ZDX Plus to provide good UV protection without any whitening. It was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~32, PFA (PPD) ~11 performance with critical wavelength 378 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | To a secondary vessel add phase A, start mixing, heat to 80°C and then add phase B. Add phase C before combining with water phase. |
| 2 | To the main vessel add phase D, start mixing and add phase E items in order. |
| 3 | When solids of phase DE are fully incorporated, heat phase DE to 75°C. |
| 4 | When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase DE with prop mixing. |
| 5 | After 5 minutes start cooling batch and when batch is below 50°C add phase F items one by one with mixing. |
| 6 | Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth. |
