This sunscreen formulation, in a convenient, user-friendly stick form, is designed to provide broad spectrum (SPF/PFA ≤ 3), SPF 50 performance. SolaStay® S1 from Hallstar provides photostabilization for Avobenzone, while HallBrite® BHB contributes to enhanced product feel.
In vivo testing in a Korean lab yielded static SPF 55 and PFA 19. This composition was also subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~54, PFA (PPD) ~17 (PA++++) performance with critical wavelength 375 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | Add phase A ingredients to main vessel and begin mixing and heating to 85°C. |
| 2 | When above 50°C, add phase B . |
| 3 | Add phase C ingredients with continued mixing until homogenous and begin to cool. |
| 4 | Pour into packaging at 65-70°C. |
